Our 2009 trip brought 9 travelers between ages 24 and 60, plus a Scottish guide, a Distant Journeys representative, and musical host Ed Pearlman, on a great journey through the Scottish Highlands. Each day we took walks through the beautiful countryside, and in the evenings were joined by such musicians as fiddler Bruce MacGregor, Jon Bews, Gaelic singer Gillebride Macmillan, members of Stushie, sessions in Dunkeld and Inverness, a visit to the Dunkeld Strathspey & Reel Society, and we had a chance to hear Ed Pearlman play Niel Gow’s fiddle!
